Intelligence Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Consultant to join us full-time in Abu Dhabi. This role involves analyzing and interpreting complex data to aid business strategies, risk management, and decision-making processes. The consultant will partner closely with management, clients, and multiple teams to convert intelligence into actionable insights and strategic advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive research and intelligence analysis supporting strategic business decisions.
• Gather, assess, and scrutinize information from trustworthy internal and external sources.
• Identify trends in the market, competitive landscapes, industry risks, and new opportunities.
• Produce intelligence reports, assessments, briefings, dashboards, and presentations for executives.
• Clarify complex information and analytical results into practical business insights.
• Perform competitive, market, industry, and environmental business analyses.
• Keep track of relevant economic, technological, regulatory, and market developments affecting operations.
• Assist in strategic planning, risk evaluation, business development, and investment decisions.
• Recognize potential risks, threats, and opportunities through methodical analysis.
• Create analytical frameworks, research methods, and intelligence procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define intelligence needs and research focus areas.
• Maintain and update databases, research archives, intelligence repositories, and documentation.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Partner with Strategy, Business Development, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology departments.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive business and intelligence data.
• Continuously enhance methods for intelligence collection, analysis, reporting, and decision support.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in intelligence analysis, business intelligence, strategic research, consulting, risk analysis, or related areas.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess complex information.
• Experience in research, competitive assessments, market analysis, or strategic evaluations.
• Skilled at detecting patterns, trends, risks, and opportunities from various information sources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills capable of conveying complex material to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and experience handling confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with analytics or business intelligence tools.
• Experience using BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents is beneficial.
• Knowledge of data analysis, research methods, risk management, or strategic planning is a plus.
• Capable of working independently while managing multiple assignments.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and client engagement.
• Preferred educational background includes Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Data Analytics, Finance, Political Science, or related fields.
• Professional certifications in intelligence, risk management, business analysis, or similar disciplines add value.
