Role Overview

The Intelligence Analyst will develop insightful intelligence reports concerning foreign military activities, weapons advancements, global conflicts, and international stability to support India and allied nations’ security decisions. Candidates will merge Rhombus’s proprietary AI-driven data with a broad array of open-source information to produce these assessments.

Analysts conduct in-depth research across worldwide security topics tailored to client intelligence requests. Workproducts chiefly consist of written intelligence analyses that comply with Indian Intelligence Community standards and customized briefings for diverse audiences.

Applicants must thrive in collaborative, high-pressure environments, possess strong interpersonal communication abilities, and engage willingly in constructive feedback within their teams and cross-functional partners. The position demands proactive, tech-savvy individuals capable of prioritizing and multitasking effectively amid dynamic global events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pinpoint influential intelligence topics aligned with detailed understanding of customer missions and requirements.
  • Create comprehensive intelligence assessments adhering to Indian Intelligence Community analytic and writing protocols.
  • Employ Rhombus’s AI-enhanced intelligence capabilities alongside expert research to gather essential information.
  • Recognize information deficiencies and work with Model and Data Development teams to fill gaps through additional sourcing.
  • Use structured analytic methods to uphold high-quality standards for all intelligence products.
  • Present finished intelligence analyses to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a specialist in defense, military technologies, weapons systems, and evolving security trends pertinent to client needs.
  • Contribute feedback and support the advancement of Rhombus’s intelligence tools and applications.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 5 years of analytic experience with deep expertise in military capabilities, weapons systems, and wider defense/security sectors.
  • Prior analytic training or experience within the Indian Intelligence Community or military is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Economics, or other relevant social sciences focused on security topics; advanced degrees, including PhDs, are highly regarded.
  • Proven skill in producing intelligence reports tailored to specific client intelligence demands.
  • Experience delivering presentations on complex national security and international matters in demanding, high-stakes situations.
  • Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques.
  • Possess strong intellectual curiosity, emotional intelligence, and perseverance to consistently drive deliverables to completion.
  • Eligibility to obtain security clearance from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) or equivalent authority; candidates currently holding such clearance should specify level and sponsoring body.
  • Experience with data analytics, statistics, data science, or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, STATA) is an asset.
