Position Overview
This full-time, permanent role is based in Wollongong, NSW with flexible work arrangements allowing three remote days per week. Reporting directly to the Chief Insurance Officer, the Insurance Broker Support Administrator is a key member of the foundation team, tasked with ensuring accurate policy administration, compliance, and coordination among insurers, brokers, and internal departments, supporting approximately 4,500 existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new business submissions, policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Prepare certificates of currency, renewal documents, and policy schedules with precision.
- Maintain meticulous records ensuring all documents align with compliance requirements.
- Assist with debtor management, invoicing, and generate reports as needed.
- Collaborate with insurers, underwriters, brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth policy processing.
- Address client questions relating to coverage, policies, and administrative procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize workflows and elevate service quality.
- Support the insurance team with various administrative and operational duties.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in administration within insurance, broking, underwriting, claims, or financial services sectors.
- Familiarity with insurance administration tasks such as policy documentation, renewals, endorsements, certificates of currency, and insurer correspondence.
- Possession of, or willingness to acquire, Tier 2 General Insurance qualification.
- Experience working with CRM systems, policy management tools, or insurance databases.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and ability to handle compliance-oriented documentation confidently.

Additional Information
Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm; office located at 63A Market Street, Wollongong, NSW 2500, with available street parking. The role offers a hybrid working model with three days remote and two days on-site weekly.
