Job description
Role Overview
The Insurance Associate plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day insurance operations. This includes managing policy administration, handling documentation, assisting with customer service, coordinating claims, and communicating effectively with insurers, brokers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle processing of insurance applications, renewals, amendments, and cancellations accurately.
- Assist in providing quotations, preparing policies, certificates, and endorsements.
- Collect, verify, and maintain up-to-date client and policy information.
- Coordinate communications with insurers, brokers, underwriters, and internal departments.
- Support the registration, documentation, and follow-up of insurance claims.
- Review and verify policy details including coverage, premiums, and renewal conditions.
- Assist in approvals, policy payments, renewals, and any changes related to policies.
- Maintain precise and organized insurance records and documentation.
- Respond promptly to client questions concerning policies and coverage options.
- Monitor policy expiration dates to ensure timely renewals.
- Prepare detailed reports, proposals, correspondence, and administrative documents.
- Ensure thoroughness and accuracy in all documentation and proper filing.
- Uphold confidentiality of all client and insurance-related information.
- Adhere strictly to company guidelines as well as relevant insurance regulations.
- Offer timely administrative and operational support to the insurance team to ensure smooth processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Relevant prior experience in insurance operations or administrative roles.
- Sound knowledge of insurance products, policies, claims processes, and underwriting procedures.
- Familiarity with UAE insurance practices and regulatory environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical abilities.
- Good problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to details.
- Excellent communication proficiency and customer service orientation.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and insurance or CRM software systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, insurers, brokers, and cross-functional teams.
- Professional demeanor, reliability, high organizational skills, and focus on customer satisfaction.
