Role Overview

We seek a mid-level Instrument & Electrical Designer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will produce instrumentation and electrical design deliverables that meet project, client, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, coordinate, and deliver Instrumentation and Electrical designs leveraging AutoCAD software.
• Develop detailed single line, layout, connection diagrams, instrument and I/O schedules, hook-up drawings, cause & effect diagrams, and loop diagrams.
• Support the understanding and generation of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and hazardous area drawings.
• Manage multiple complex projects, which may involve various engineering disciplines, and meet competing deadlines effectively.
• Provide practical, innovative solutions consistent with industry best practices and project requirements.
• Oversee quality control of design outputs, participate in peer reviews and audits, and address any identified deficiencies promptly.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a skilled Instrument & Electrical Designer who combines technical expertise with collaborative teamwork. Preference is given to those with field experience in electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering, particularly in construction, commissioning, and maintenance contexts.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proficient with AutoCAD for electrical and instrumentation design.
• Minimum of five years industry experience as an Instrumentation and Electrical Designer.
• Preferred practical site experience in electrical, instrument, and control engineering activities.
