Job description
About the Role
We are expanding our team to accommodate business growth and are seeking skilled Installation Technicians to support electronic security equipment deployment for residential and commercial clients. The position may also involve fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of existing security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install new security systems through cabling and setup, as well as convert existing systems.
- Identify faults, maintain, repair, and test security components including CCTV and access control systems.
- Provide on-call support to clients when rostered or in case of emergencies.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely completion.
- Configure routers to enable remote CCTV access using EXTMONs technology.
- Manage CCTV systems and maintain corresponding logs remotely.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a similar installation and maintenance role.
- Familiarity with various security systems and ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects.
- Possess valid Private Individual Security Registration and cabling license.
- Hold a current Victorian Driver's License and a driving license (DL).
