Inspector / Storekeeper

About the Role

Veraspec Technical Services LLC is seeking a meticulous and safety-conscious Inspector / Storekeeper to oversee the management, inspection, traceability, and inventory of rope access and fall-protection equipment located in Dubai, UAE.

Core Responsibilities

• Control the issuance and return of equipment allocated to technicians and projects.
• Perform thorough inspections of rope access and fall-protection gear, ensuring all items are correctly tagged and documented.
• Detect damaged, expired, or non-compliant equipment, isolate it, and coordinate its removal from service.
• Keep an accurate and detailed equipment register with full traceability throughout the inventory lifecycle.
• Carry out regular stock audits, coordinate inventory verification, and handle equipment reorder processes.
• Maintain inspection certificates and all relevant equipment documentation.
• Ensure compliance and readiness for IRATA and ISO 9001 audits by managing records and equipment controls effectively.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Odoo ERP for accurate equipment and inventory record keeping.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a current, valid IRATA certification at Level 1, 2, or 3.
• Experience inspecting rope access and/or fall-protection equipment.
• At least 2 years of experience in rope access, height safety, equipment inspection, or storekeeping roles.
• High attention to detail with a strong understanding of equipment traceability requirements.
• Proficient record-keeping and inventory management skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and experience using Odoo or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
• Residing in the UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• LEEA certification or training relevant to PPE/manufacturer inspections.
• Prior experience supporting high-rise, façade, or rope access operations within the GCC region.
• Good knowledge of IRATA equipment control protocols and audit standards.
