Job Overview

We are recruiting a proactive, attentive Inspector to join our Victoria team. This hands-on role involves inspecting agricultural commodities to ensure adherence to industry and government regulations, contributing to the reliability of export and domestic trade services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect agricultural commodity exports and domestic trade shipments thoroughly.
  • Execute export commodity inspections aligned with Trade Assurance Services agreements and regulatory norms.
  • Accurately complete and submit inspection reports and related documentation punctually.
  • Engage with customers to understand and fulfill their inspection needs.
  • Continuously upgrade skills, knowledge, and qualifications essential for the role.

  • Highly organized, dependable, and capable of working autonomously.
  • Effective communicator focusing on customer satisfaction.
  • Meticulous with excellent abilities in record maintenance.
  • Dedicated to safety, quality assurance, and ongoing improvement.
  • Adaptable to varied environments and adept in field-based inspection tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Possession of a current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Preferably experienced or knowledgeable in agriculture, commodity inspection, export services, or related areas.
  • Australian Government Authorized Officer accreditations PGG3001 and BVI3001 are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Competent in producing concise, precise reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail paired with strong problem-solving capabilities.
