Inspector - API

Overview

We are looking for a highly proficient API Inspector with extensive expertise in lifting operations, industrial inspections, and adherence to international regulatory standards. The appointed professional will be responsible for conducting training sessions, overseeing trainees, supporting inspection tasks, and assisting in developing business strategies.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Possess certifications in API 570, API 510, or API 653.
• Additional certifications such as API 580 or API 579-1 are advantageous.
• Hold qualifications equivalent to ISO 9712, ASNT, or PCN for NDT Level II across RT, UT, MT, and PT methods.
• Have a minimum of ten years’ experience performing mechanical welding inspections specifically in the oil and gas sector.
• Experience working within Brownfield plant environments.
• Competence in performing in-service and maintenance inspections.
• Strong familiarity with industry standards including ASME, API, and ISO.
• Skilled in interpreting blueprints and complex technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Work experience in the Gulf region is preferred; prior employment in Qatar is an asset but not required.
