Job description
Role Overview
The Inspection Coordinator is charged with overseeing inspection operations to guarantee prompt and effective delivery of inspection services that adhere to company standards, client needs, and contractual terms. This position facilitates the mobilization of inspectors, evaluates and sources qualified personnel, arranges inspection tasks, and manages the related documentation and invoicing process to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize inspection activities ensuring alignment with company procedures and contractual requirements.
- Plan and coordinate the deployment of inspection engineers both locally and internationally.
- Engage with internal and external partners, including overseas contacts and suppliers, for outsourcing inspectors as needed.
- Assess inspector CVs to confirm their appropriateness for specific assignments.
- Handle invoicing procedures, including management of timesheets, supporting documents, and required approvals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Have 4 to 10 years of experience in related fields, especially in vendor or worldwide inspection sourcing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with ERP and document management systems is advantageous.
- Experience within industrial and Oil & Gas sectors is a plus.
- Strong communication and reporting capabilities.
