Inside Sales Representative - Security Branch

About the Role

Join Wesco Anixter's Perth team as an Inside Sales Representative focused on security branch operations. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, customer-oriented, and has enthusiasm for technology-oriented product solutions, based at our Balcatta branch.

Key Job Purpose

As an essential contact for customers, you will foster sales expansion by actively reaching out to clients, collaborating with external sales colleagues, and recommending product solutions that enhance the purchasing experience. Developing strong long-term relationships will be central to growing account engagement, increasing customer loyalty, and boosting revenue.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage key accounts by nurturing enduring relationships while expanding account activities and pinpointing growth opportunities.
• Proactively generate sales through outbound outreach and identifying customer needs.
• Work collaboratively with outside sales teams, vendor partners, product managers, and customer service to support the entire sales process.
• Create and follow up on quotes, assist with project registrations, and negotiate pricing to safeguard profit margins.
• Provide product and solution recommendations tailored to meet customers’ requirements.
• Handle complex order management ensuring accuracy in processing and documentation.
• Implement and promote internal and vendor-driven sales campaigns.
• Offer trade counter support including handling inbound calls and delivering technical product guidance.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in inside sales or account support within technology or wholesale distribution sectors is highly desirable.
• Knowledge or exposure to electronic security solutions is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and face-to-face communication skills with the confidence to influence sales outcomes.
• Technical aptitude enabling discussion of products and solutions knowledgeably.
• Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
• A motivated and proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and enhance product expertise.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM platforms.
• Ability to establish relationships and thrive within a dynamic team-oriented environment.
