Role Overview

The Inside Sales Representative will be instrumental in accelerating Nexxis' growth by identifying customer needs, engaging proactively with clients, and aligning our inspection technology solutions to address real-world challenges. This position does not require extensive sales background, but values strong communication skills, eagerness to learn, and a positive attitude. The role is based in O'Connor, Perth, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate contact with inbound leads and pursue opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Ask insightful questions to uncover customer requirements, project timelines, and constraints.
  • Identify prospects for rental, hire, or purchase of inspection solutions.
  • Follow up on quotations and client communications to clarify next steps.
  • Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Document all interactions and opportunities accurately in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Sales Representatives and branch teams to align solutions.
  • Participate regularly in sales training, product education, and industry development.
  • Occasionally attend customer meetings, training events, and industry trade shows.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence.
  • Motivation to establish a career in sales with a growth mindset.
  • Receptive to coaching and able to apply feedback.
  • Highly organized with consistent follow-up skills.
  • Persistent and resilient in pursuing sales goals.
  • Positive attitude and able to work effectively within a team.
  • Diploma qualification or higher.

Preferable Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, call centres, or tele-sales.
  • Familiarity with technical, industrial, or engineering sectors is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
