About PROPELLER and The Arch Residency

PROPELLER is an AI-native cross-border venture builder whose core team consists entirely of AI-powered problem solvers. It connects global technology ecosystems with China’s rapid supply chains and innovation capabilities. In November, PROPELLER will launch The Arch, a three-week exclusive residency in Shanghai designed for global founders focused on growth, elite venture capitalists, tech scouts, and corporate executives, offering them direct insight into China's AI and hardware advances.

Role Overview

As the Innovation Project Champion, you will be the operational backbone for The Arch residency, guaranteeing a seamless and premium experience for all participants.

• Oversee comprehensive execution, managing scheduling, logistics, and onsite arrangements such as company visits, private seminars, and networking opportunities during the three-week event.
• Serve as the central coordinator between international attendees, Chinese technology partners, and the internal PROPELLER team.
• Curate and maintain the preferred atmosphere by facilitating exclusive and meaningful interactions rather than impersonal large-scale trade shows.
• After the residency, convert established connections into lasting venture-building engagements for PROPELLER.

The position involves a hybrid work model ideally based in Shanghai, with flexibility to work remotely as well.

Candidate Profile

• Fluent in English and Mandarin with deep cultural understanding bridging Silicon Valley mindsets and China’s rapid innovation environment.
• Exceptionally organized and flexible, able to juggle complex scheduling and adapt quickly to dynamic startup conditions, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multicultural, cross-functional teams.
• High emotional intelligence and professionalism, confident in engaging with C-suite leaders, investors, and diverse entrepreneurs, backed by experience managing multi-stakeholder projects especially in technology or innovation sectors.
• Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, problem-solving approach and strong ownership mentality beyond simple task execution.
• Comfortable with or eager to learn about AI, robotics, and emerging technologies within an innovation-driven context.
