Our advanced production facilities are located near premium renewable plantation pine sources at Bell Bay, Tasmania, and Tarpeena, South Australia. Our range of plantation pine products are designed for new housing construction, renovations, and industrial applications such as packaging, pallets, and furniture components.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Injury Management Advisor to join our team at the Tarpeena manufacturing site, near Mount Gambier. Reporting to the Manager of Workplace Relations and Injury Management, this position handles comprehensive workers' compensation claims and coordinates return-to-work activities in South Australia under the Return-to-Work Act 2014 (SA). The role also assists broader business operations across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia by collaborating with HR teams and managing claims with state insurers according to relevant regulation.
The Injury Management Advisor will develop foundational processes for injury management across the Tarpeena site and the wider organization to support both work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses. Additionally, they will contribute to various HR programs and initiatives as needed.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Certification as a ReturnToWorkSA Coordinator.
- Willingness to pursue Return to Work Coordinator accreditation for other states as needed.
- Proven experience managing workers' compensation claims and coordinating return-to-work programs.
- Knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA) alongside other pertinent legislative requirements.
- Experience collaborating with insurance providers, occupational rehabilitation services, and medical professionals.
- Ability to maintain case files, return-to-work plans, and related documentation accurately.
- Strong people-centered and process-oriented approach with keen attention to detail, compliance, and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and case management capabilities.
- Capacity to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines effectively.
- Understanding of privacy legislation and confidentiality protocols.
