Infrastructure Engineer with DV Security Clearance

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor within a Defence environment, delivering expertise in infrastructure engineering.
• Support and facilitate the migration of legacy systems to the MOD core cloud infrastructure, enhancing resilience and reducing risk.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, cyber security experts, and service delivery teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure alignment across Agile teams.
• Lead technical assurance activities and compliance with JSP 453 controls, supporting Defence Equipment Approvals Board (DEAB) approvals including authority to process accreditation.
• Work with suppliers and stakeholders to optimize value, resolve delivery issues, and contribute to PI Planning aligning infrastructure goals with programme objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive infrastructure engineering experience within secure or Defence environments, preferably MOD-related.
• Proven expertise in cloud migration and legacy platform maintenance.
• Familiarity with assurance frameworks such as JSP 453 and authorization procedures like ATO/Attestation and iATO.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical teams.
• Proactive engagement with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
• Active or eligible for DV security clearance; must be a sole UK national and hold a UK passport.
