About the Role
Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) seeks a seasoned Information Technology Project Manager to facilitate the execution of critical IT and digital transformation projects organization-wide. This role demands a dedicated leader capable of overseeing comprehensive project lifecycles, coordinating with business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure projects meet defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the complete delivery process for IT and digital initiatives from inception to deployment.
- Oversee project parameters including scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-project dependencies.
- Facilitate collaboration among business stakeholders, IT departments, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors.
- Handle enterprise-level system implementations encompassing integration, rigorous testing phases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and final deployment.
- Implement robust project governance frameworks and provide consistent management reporting.
- Manage relationships and performance of technology vendors and implementation partners.
- Ensure smooth handover of projects from delivery phases to ongoing operational support.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Between 10 to 12 years of relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 7 years managing IT projects.
- Proven expertise in handling enterprise systems, digital platforms, and system integration projects.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and vendor management.
- Possession of PMP or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Additional qualifications such as Agile, Scrum, or ITIL certifications are beneficial.
- Experience in government, regulatory, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors will be considered advantageous.
