Information Technology Engineer

About the Role

Dipanshu Promoter and Builder Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced IT/Network Engineer with CCNA skills to join their head office in Ranchi. This full-time position involves managing and maintaining IT infrastructure and network systems, providing user support, and overseeing various hardware and security systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and resolve issues in LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and VPN configurations.
• Maintain and support computers, laptops, printers, network devices, and overall IT infrastructure.
• Offer assistance in hardware, software, network-related queries, and user support.
• Manage CCTV setups, biometric systems, access-control mechanisms, and general IT security apparatus.
• Oversee audiovisual and video conferencing systems along with meeting room connectivity.
• Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) for IT/network components and evaluate AutoCAD/network schematics.
• Liaise with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and vendors for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, documentation, backups, and ensure robust system security.

Skill Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and troubleshooting expertise at CCNA networking level.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, MS Office suite, hardware maintenance, firewall configurations, VPNs, and basic server management.
• Understanding of audiovisual/video conferencing systems, BOQ preparation, AutoCAD usage, and interpretation of network drawings.
• Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in CCNA is preferred.
• Experience relevant to building construction projects, particularly government sector projects.
• Exposure to construction, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), or projects spanning multiple sites is advantageous.
