Information Technology Business Analyst

Role Overview

We seek a versatile IT Analyst / Analyst Programmer who combines strong business analysis capabilities with practical application development and technical delivery expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with stakeholders to collect and scrutinize business needs.
• Convert business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, developers, QA teams, and business units through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Produce comprehensive documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, acceptance criteria, detailed functional specs, and test scenarios.
• Design, build, configure, install, and maintain business-critical applications.
• Provide support during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), handle troubleshooting, resolve defects, manage deployments, and support live production environments.
• Conduct impact assessments and coordinate enhancements and release cycles for applications.

Requirements

• Possess over 5 years of relevant IT industry experience, including 2 to 4 years focused on application design, development, and configuration.
• Excellent business analysis expertise along with the ability to manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience in programming, development, or application configuration.
• Solid comprehension of both business processes and technical requirements.
• Preferred skills include strong SQL knowledge and capabilities in troubleshooting application issues.
• Experience working within banking or financial services sectors is advantageous.
