Job Location and Schedule
This position is based at the Athelstan, Quebec plant, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage for this role is $22.58. Employees are offered comprehensive health benefits including medical, prescription coverage, dental, and vision care. Primary Duties
- Clean and sanitize production lines and machinery such as conveyors and fillers, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of production floors, office spaces, washrooms, and lunch areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned prior to production commencement.
- Perform internal and external cleaning of warehouse facilities.
- Sanitize water storage tanks according to company protocols.
- Prepare necessary materials and products for effective cleaning of equipment and structures.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in sanitation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Capability to perform under pressure with minimal supervision, meeting tight deadlines.
- Consistent precision and attention to detail are crucial.
- Mechanical skills or an aptitude for working with mechanical equipment would be advantageous.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong proficiency in French is essential for effective communication with customers and team members to ensure excellent service and understanding of customer needs.
