About The Role
The Industrial Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of industrial environments. This position requires operating heavy-duty industrial machinery, applying specialist cleaning chemicals, and performing work at heights. Key duties include meticulous cleaning of machines to meet top quality standards, adhering strictly to Health and Safety protocols, maintaining and correctly storing cleaning tools and equipment, collaborating with team members to handle daily tasks and workflow, managing cleaning supplies and stock, and performing general cleaning activities including outdoor maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Use heavy industrial equipment and specialist chemicals, including working at elevated heights.
- Maintain machines to the highest cleaning standards.
- Consistently uphold Health and Safety regulations.
- Ensure proper care and storage of all cleaning equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to support daily operational routines and workload management.
- Oversee equipment, materials, and stock levels, reporting supply needs to management.
- Execute general cleaning duties and maintain external areas as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work standards.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices relevant to industrial cleaning.
