In-House Sales Executive

About the Role

Kitchen Mart Guwahati, the largest wholesale showroom in Northeast India, is looking for a dedicated in-house sales executive focused on delivering excellent customer service. Your role is to warmly welcome visitors, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products to ensure a smooth and positive buying experience from the first enquiry to final purchase. Maintaining an appealing showroom environment and accurate product knowledge is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers with professionalism and assist them promptly.
• Assess customer requirements to suggest appropriate products.
• Provide an excellent customer journey from inquiry through purchase completion.
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently and courteously.
• Stay knowledgeable about products, pricing, offers, and competitor launches.
• Demonstrate product features confidently to customers.
• Record customer inquiries in the CRM or register accurately.
• Follow up with prospective customers to convert inquiries into sales effectively.
• Maintain attractive product displays with correct pricing and promotional materials.
• Ensure the showroom is clean and visually appealing at all times.
• Prepare quotations accurately and complete sales documents without mistakes.
• Coordinate with accounting for billing and payment processing.
• Organize the filing of invoices, delivery notes, and customer documentation.
• Communicate with the warehouse to confirm product availability and report low stock items.
• Assist in stock checks and inventory audits periodically.
• Ensure all displayed products are well-maintained and in good condition.

Candidate Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.

Additional Information

The monthly compensation package ranges from INR 15,000 to 35,000. This position involves a full-time commitment and requires working onsite at the Guwahati showroom.
