Role Summary
The In-House Radiologist will be stationed full-time onsite in Bengaluru South and be responsible for interpreting dental imaging, including 2D and 3D scans, producing precise and clinically relevant radiology reports. This position demands close interaction with dentists and diagnostic center teams to aid treatment planning and ensure prompt communication of imaging findings. Key duties include overseeing imaging protocols, verifying image quality, identifying pathological and anatomical anomalies, early detection of head and neck conditions, and involvement in standardizing protocols and quality assurance. Participation in the enhancement and refinement of Vi-Scan's digital and AI-powered diagnostic tools is also expected. The role requires strict compliance with ethical standards, patient safety norms, and regulatory directives while fostering a culture committed to continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications and Expertise
- Possession of a medical degree (MBBS) with MD/DNB in Radiology or a recognized equivalent, with valid registration from the relevant medical council.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in dental and maxillofacial radiology, proficient in interpreting CBCT, panoramic, cephalometric, and other dental imaging technologies.
- Capability to detect dental diseases, facial bone and jaw abnormalities, and early signs of head and neck conditions.
- Familiarity with digital radiology environments including PACS, RIS, and image visualization/processing software tailored for dental applications.
- Skill in generating clear, organized, and clinically valuable radiology reports suited for dental practitioners and referring physicians.
- Meticulousness with commitment to standardized imaging protocols, quality control, and evidence-based methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to engage smoothly with dentists, center personnel, and technology teams.
- Readiness to adapt and work efficiently with technology-enabled workflows, including decision-support systems and AI platforms.
