Import Permit Executive (Air Freight)

About the Role

WMG Pte Ltd, a licensed Postal Service Operator based in Singapore, specializes in cross-border parcel and mail logistics throughout Asia. This role focuses on managing consignee deliveries, handling documentation, resolving operational queries, and coordinating with vendors and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to consignee inquiries related to deliveries, documentation, and operational concerns
• Prepare, submit, and track permit and regulatory applications efficiently
• Liaise with vendors regarding service implementation and operational issues
• Monitor vendor adherence to performance standards and service level agreements
• Generate accurate client invoices promptly
• Manage submission of Purchase Orders and Requests for Fund
• Review vendor billing statements and collaborate with Finance to resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain precise records covering operations, compliance, and billing
• Identify and communicate potential risks involving operations, vendors, or compliance proactively

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Diploma or higher qualification in any discipline
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Technologically adept, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
• Experienced and knowledgeable about customs import declaration regulations
• Possession of a valid Custom Declarant Agent ID is mandatory
• Capable of working under tight deadlines while fulfilling reporting requirements
• Mature, with strong interpersonal skills, a solid work ethic, independence, entrepreneurial spirit, proactiveness, and accountability
• Exhibits a positive and constructive attitude
• Availability to commence work immediately or on short notice is preferred
