Job Overview
We are seeking an Import Documentation Executive to manage and verify import documentation processes, ensure compliance with customs regulations, coordinate with logistics partners, and maintain statutory records.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and verify import-related documents and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee customs filing processes and compliance with regulations.
- Liaise effectively with Customs House Agents (CHA) and carriers for smooth shipment handling.
- Track shipments and control associated costs to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain statutory records and create audit trails for import transactions.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 1 to 4 years of practical experience in handling import documentation.
- Strong understanding of Indian Customs protocols including ICEGATE and e-Sanchit systems.
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 in import operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of EXIM or ERP software applications.
