Role Overview
The company seeks an experienced Import Coordinator to join their Operations Team full-time, working onsite in Portsmouth during standard office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). This role involves managing both sea and air import shipments with an emphasis on sea freight and customs clearance processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general freight forwarding for sea import shipments, including managing processes from quotation to shipment delivery.
- Coordinate import sea and air shipments effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ensure high-quality communication and customer service throughout shipment handling.
Candidate Requirements
- Solid experience in sea freight import forwarding and customs clearance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive, proactive mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Boxtop and Descartes logistics software.
- Knowledge and usage familiarity with CNS/Destin8 systems.
