Position Overview

This opportunity involves directing and executing policies and procedures related to an organization's Employee Assistance Program (EAP), focusing on comprehensive support and counseling services for employees. The role includes overseeing that both inpatient and outpatient care facilities align with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and enforce policies concerning the Employee Assistance Program.
  • Ensure quality standards for inpatient and outpatient counseling facilities.
  • Conduct training sessions for management on addressing medical and behavioral challenges.
  • Offer counseling directly to employees participating in the program.
  • Provide strategic input influencing functional decisions and oversee subordinates in complex organizational groups.
  • Report directly to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a Master's degree.
  • At least eight years of experience as an Employee Assistance Professional.
  • Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in California, or a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT or LMFT), or a licensed psychologist (PhD) in California.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and faculty.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Proficiency in computer skills necessary for maintaining precise and comprehensive documentation.
