Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous Image Annotator to become a part of our Data Science team. This role is vital in creating precise datasets that drive our Computer Vision and Machine Learning solutions. The successful candidate will focus on accurately labeling, tagging, and segmenting image and video data to provide clean and dependable ground-truth datasets for our models.

Key Responsibilities

• Precisely annotate images and videos using various techniques such as bounding boxes, polygons, semantic segmentation, keypoint estimation, and image classification tags.
• Conduct thorough quality control through self-review and peer reviews to ensure annotations meet project standards and quality criteria.
• Work closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to interpret labeling instructions and keep up with evolving annotation protocols.
• Proactively report unusual cases, unclear data, or annotation mistakes to the engineering team to improve the dataset quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Demonstrate keen visual attention and spatial perception, with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and uniformity.
• Have foundational computer skills; experience with image annotation platforms like CVAT, LabelImg, Labelbox, or equivalents is strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Computer Vision principles such as object identification, categorization, and segmentation.
