Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SailPoint Engineer to contribute to cybersecurity engineering initiatives and projects. The primary focus of this position is to manage and optimize SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ), especially concentrating on application onboarding and automating Identity and Access Management (IAM) workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and manage SailPoint IdentityIQ including components such as Life Cycle Manager (LCM) and Compliance Manager (CM).
- Create and uphold identity workflows, define roles, develop policies, and manage certification campaigns within the IAM framework.
- Integrate and onboard business applications into the SailPoint IIQ environment, including automation of applications and integration with WebService connectors.
- Design and carry out testing strategies including test plans and scenarios for IAM enhancements and integrations.
- Diagnose and resolve issues pertaining to SailPoint and IAM/IGA systems, offering expert advice to operational and support teams.
- Collaborate closely with IT and cybersecurity departments to ensure secure and dependable identity management.
- Prepare detailed solution designs, standard operating procedures, comprehensive documentation, and conduct handover sessions for support teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with SailPoint technology.
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Hands-on expertise in implementing and maintaining SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) with deep knowledge of LCM, Compliance Manager, workflows, roles, certification campaigns, and policy configuration.
- Experience in onboarding applications and handling system integrations within SailPoint.
- Strong proficiency with WebService connector implementations.
- Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting IAM systems and processes.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities and able to contribute effectively to team efforts.
- Adaptability, proactivity, and comfortable operating within Agile methodologies.
Additional Advantages
- Prior exposure to SailPoint IdentityNow platform.
- Possession of relevant SailPoint certifications is desirable.
