Job description
Role Overview
This position is dedicated to designing, deploying, configuring, and supporting IBM Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions utilizing ISIM, ISAM, and IGI technologies. The consultant will handle comprehensive IAM tasks ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient identity management within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of identity lifecycle management including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role management.
- Set up and manage Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), authentication, authorization, and federation mechanisms.
- Execute Identity Governance procedures, including conducting access certifications, implementing role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SoD).
- Integrate IAM systems with Active Directory/LDAP, enterprise databases, human resources systems, cloud applications, and other enterprise platforms.
- Design and customize workflows, provisioning policies, connectors, and adapters to automate and streamline IAM operations.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, handle audits, and maintain necessary controls for safeguarding access.
- Investigate and resolve IAM-related incidents performing root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance IAM frameworks suitable for organizational needs.
Key Deliverables
- Deployment and sustained management of IBM ISIM, ISAM, and IGI solutions.
- Automation of user identity processes such as provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Configuration and maintenance of SSO, MFA, and federation services.
- Enforcement of access certification, role definition, and SoD controls.
- Seamless integration with Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, databases, and cloud environments.
- Creation and enhancement of IAM workflows, policies, connectors, and adapters.
- Adherence to compliance standards and execution of audit requirements.
- Troubleshooting and resolution of identity management incidents.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or closely related disciplines.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of identity and access management principles and industry best practices.
- Proficiency with IBM ISIM, ISAM, and IGI platforms through practical experience.
- Expertise managing identity lifecycle operations including roles, passwords, provisioning, and de-provisioning.
- Experience configuring and supporting Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and federation technologies.
- Working knowledge of identity protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Kerberos.
- Familiarity with LDAP directories, Microsoft Active Directory, and IBM Security Directory Server implementations.
- Skilled in managing WebSEAL, reverse proxy configurations, and IBM ISAM access policies.
- Capable of implementing Identity Governance features including access certifications, role mining, segregation of duties, and compliance reporting.
- Development and customization experience for IAM workflows, provisioning policies, connectors, and adapters.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
