Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time, on-site IB Tutor positioned in Singapore. The incumbent will design and conduct engaging lessons aligned with IB curriculum standards, offer personalized academic assistance, and prepare students for internal assessments and final examinations. Responsibilities include clarifying complex topics, assigning and evaluating practice materials, providing meaningful feedback, and tracking student progress. Collaboration with fellow educators to maintain consistent academic quality, ongoing communication with students and their families regarding performance, and meticulous documentation of lesson plans and accomplishments are also integral parts of this role. The tutor will engage in training sessions, participate in curriculum development discussions, and attend school or centre events when required.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in one or more IB subject areas such as Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, or Languages.
• Strong capability to simplify complex concepts, tailor teaching approaches to diverse learning styles, and effectively prepare students for IB assessments and exams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management abilities with a focus on inclusive, student-centered teaching.
• Commitment to working full-time on-site in Singapore, exhibiting professionalism, and collaborating effectively with peers and families.
