About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services is recruiting an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Platform Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience. The position is based in Mumbai with opportunities also in Pune and Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing cloud-native platforms, automation, and infrastructure provisioning using modern tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage VMware Tanzu Platform and Kubernetes clusters to ensure smooth platform operations.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps methodologies.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies including Docker and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.
- Configure and oversee CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps for automated builds and deployments.
- Perform Linux system administration and engage in platform engineering tasks to support deployment environments.
- Utilize and automate cloud infrastructures across Azure, AWS, and VMware Cloud environments effectively.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience administering VMware Tanzu Platform and Kubernetes management.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps.
- Deep experience in container orchestration and containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline administration through platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
- Solid background in Linux administration and platform engineering.
- Practical knowledge of cloud services and automation in Azure, AWS, and VMware Cloud environments.
