Hygiene Operative PM

Job Overview

We are seeking Hygiene Operatives to join our team at the Ruskington location. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness for work areas, machinery, and equipment and ensuring cleaning schedules are consistently followed.

Work Schedule

• Shift pattern: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, rotating every 4 weeks.
• Standard hours: 45 hours per week.
• Permanent afternoon shift from 14:30 to 23:15.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas, machinery, and equipment thoroughly.
• Comply with company policies, health and safety, and food safety regulations.
• Work independently or as part of a team depending on task allocation.
• Operate safely in varied conditions including working at heights, confined spaces, and in cold and warm environments.
• Complete cleaning tasks according to schedules to maintain hygiene standards.

Training and Safety

Successful candidates will receive COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) training to safely handle chemicals.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in hygiene departments is beneficial but not required as full training is offered.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic literacy and numeracy proficiency.
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
