Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking Hydrogeologists experienced in both technical groundwater modelling and client stakeholder engagement to join our multidisciplinary subsurface group. This full-time position offers remote work, focusing on groundwater assessments, modelling, and monitoring projects for clients in government, mining, industrial, and agriculture sectors across multiple regions including the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual hydrogeological frameworks and construct numerical groundwater models based on MODFLOW platforms for resource management, dewatering, and impact analyses.
  • Design, conduct, and interpret aquifer pumping tests, water-level monitoring, and drilling campaigns to support project objectives.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation and recommendations tailored for decision-makers.
  • Develop project scopes, methodologies, and cost estimates for proposals and bids.
  • Effectively present technical findings and proposals to clients, facilitating their understanding and managing negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with geophysicists, GIS professionals, and field operations personnel.
  • At senior level, oversee client portfolios and actively contribute to the annual departmental business planning.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in hydrogeology, geology, civil or environmental engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in groundwater or water resource projects, with 7 or more years required for senior candidates.
  • Proficient in groundwater modelling using MODFLOW-based software such as GMS, Visual MODFLOW, or Groundwater Vistas.
  • Applied expertise in aquifer testing techniques and field investigation methods.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.

Additional Advantages
