Position Overview
We seek a seasoned Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR operations at our Sharjah office. This position entails stewardship of recruitment, employee relations, labor management, HR administration, performance appraisal, training, and compliance functions to maintain a productive workforce aligned with the company’s operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the HR department, developing and enforcing HR policies and strategies tailored to business needs.
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment including workforce planning, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding across company divisions.
- Manage employee relations through addressing grievances, disciplinary processes, workplace conflicts, ensuring equitable resolutions.
- Handle labor relations by engaging with workforce representatives, union bodies, and ensuring smooth communication channels.
- Ensure full adherence to UAE Labour Laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Administer comprehensive HR activities such as management of employee records, transfers, promotions, attendance, leave, benefits, payroll collaboration, performance evaluations, training initiatives, and separations.
- Design, review, and implement HR programs emphasizing performance management, employee engagement, and development consistent with business and regulatory requirements.
- Generate, analyze, and report HR metrics including headcount, recruitment trends, turnover rates, attendance, leave, and manpower costs.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to HR operations, labor relations, and compliance to sustain business continuity.
- Collaborate closely with senior management and department leaders to address workforce needs and ensure effective deployment of HR policies.
Candidate Profile
- Currently residing in Sharjah, UAE.
- Possesses 8 to 10 years of significant HR experience within manufacturing or industrial sector organizations, preferably with annual revenues between AED 300 million and 500 million.
- Experienced in the entire HR lifecycle with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and labor management.
- In-depth understanding of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices.
- Skilled in managing labor unions, representatives, and a varied operational workforce.
- Excellent communication abilities in English and Urdu/Hindi; additional languages relevant to workforce demographics are advantageous.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and familiar with HR or ERP information systems.
- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and organizational effectiveness.
