Job Overview

Afghan Brothers Restaurant in Doha, Qatar is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to lead recruitment, employee relations, training, policy compliance, performance management, compensation, workforce planning, and health and safety initiatives. This onsite full-time role involves overseeing HR functions to support restaurant operations across all branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle including job advertisements, conducting interviews, hiring decisions, and onboarding new hires.
• Formulate strategies to attract skilled candidates for operational and support roles in the restaurant.
• Serve as the primary liaison between employees and management, addressing grievances, resolving conflicts, and overseeing disciplinary protocols to maintain a constructive work atmosphere.
• Identify training requirements and organize developmental programs to enhance employee skills, particularly in customer service and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct orientation sessions for newly hired staff to facilitate smooth integration.
• Develop, implement, and uphold HR policies and procedures in line with Qatar labor legislation and internal standards.
• Maintain precise employee records and contract documentation.
• Create and administer performance evaluation frameworks, providing constructive feedback and supporting managers in goal-setting activities.
• Supervise payroll processing, leave administration, and benefits management to ensure fairness and transparency in compensation.
• Recommend and manage incentive programs to boost employee retention.
• Collaborate with restaurant leadership to plan workforce requirements and ensure appropriate staffing across locations.
• Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations and promote employee wellness and engagement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates of Philippine or Arab nationality are preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality or the restaurant industry is advantageous.
