Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Specialist to enhance and manage our HRIS systems. This key role involves ensuring smooth daily operations of HR technologies while supporting various HR processes and system functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain HRIS/HCM systems to ensure their effective daily functioning.
- Manage employee records including data, organizational charts, job positions, and HR documentation.
- Facilitate HR operations such as recruitment, payroll, attendance tracking, leave management, performance appraisals, and employee self-service portals.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve HRIS-related issues and provide system support.
- Translate HR business requirements into system enhancements and define technical specifications.
- Compile HR analytics through reports and dashboards to provide workforce insights.
- Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.
- Engage in system upgrades, implementation, user acceptance testing, and enhancements.
- Support HRIS integration with other enterprise applications.
- Administer and audit user access rights and permissions along with other stakeholders.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline HR workflows.
- Deliver training and guidance to HR staff on system features and usage.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
- Experience working with HRIS/HCM platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle EBS HCM and/or Oracle Fusion HCM is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of foundational HR processes and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report generation abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is advantageous.
- Capability to liaise effectively between HR, IT departments, and external providers.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
