About the Role

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist III to join our Nigeria HR & Administration department based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. This full-time onsite position plays a crucial role in supporting daily HR operations and providing comprehensive HR services throughout the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with employees and management, ensuring integrity in HR processes, adherence to policies, and fostering a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate, and revise HR policies and procedures in compliance with corporate goals and Nigerian labor law.
  • Guarantee transparent communication and accessibility of policies across all departments, while recommending enhancements for better efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Manage HR operations by maintaining precise employee records within HRIS, including visa documents, contracts, and dependent information.
  • Support management with documentation related to hiring, salary adjustments, terminations, and other HR forms.
  • Address and resolve intergroup and intragroup conflicts; coach managers on behavioral effectiveness.
  • Assist recruiting processes by sourcing and screening candidates, arranging interviews, conducting reference and background checks, and maintaining candidate files.
  • Coordinate with staffing agencies for temporary positions and support internal and cross-border employee transfers to Nigeria, including contract preparation and relocation logistics such as visa sponsorship and medical insurance.
  • Lead or partake in HR projects focusing on digitization, standardization, and enhancing process efficiency.
  • Generate HR reports, trackers, and dashboards, maintain HR data accuracy, and ensure documentation for audits and compliance.
  • Adhere strictly to Enerflex’s policies across HR, Quality, HSE, and others.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Between 7 and 10 years of professional HR experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR functions along with employment laws and regulations applicable locally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to handle confidential information discreetly and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to operate effectively under pressure and collaborate well within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach towards problem-solving.

  • Work primarily based in an office setting with flexibility as needed.
  • Ability to handle work stress and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrates initiative and follows through to resolve issues independently.
