About the Role
We are looking to appoint a Human Resources Director based in Düsseldorf to join a globally recognized leader known for innovation, growth, and sustainability. This permanent position, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, involves supporting operations across Europe with a particular focus on sites in Germany and Holland.
Key Responsibilities
As the inaugural HR Director in this role, you will collaborate intimately with senior management to develop and execute people strategies aligned with the company’s business goals. Your scope includes overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, enhancing organizational capabilities, facilitating transformation processes, fostering leadership development, and championing a high-performance culture across multiple locations.
Capabilities and Expertise Required
We seek a seasoned HR professional possessing robust experience in senior-level HR business partnering, especially within international, multi-site, and customer-centric organizations. A combination of commercial insight, cultural adaptability, and influential communication skills is critical. Your background should demonstrate proficiency in change management, talent strategy development, employee relations, and effective engagement with leadership and employee representatives such as works councils. The role demands some travel flexibility within the region.
