Role Overview
We seek a Human Resources Director to join our Gurugram office. This full-time, onsite role leads the HR department, developing and enforcing HR policies, directing talent acquisition and onboarding, and managing the performance appraisal process. The director will also spearhead employee relations, drive organizational development efforts, advise leadership on HR issues, and ensure adherence to labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures aligned with business goals.
- Supervise talent acquisition initiatives and new employee onboarding.
- Manage employee relations and conflict resolution effectively.
- Oversee performance management systems including goal setting and evaluations.
- Ensure full compliance with labor and employment legislation.
- Advise managers on various HR matters and support leadership in organizational growth strategies.
- Develop programs to boost employee engagement and retention.
- Analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with senior management to integrate HR strategies with company objectives.
- Promote a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in HR functions such as strategic planning, organizational development, and training.
- Proven track record designing and managing HR policies and procedures.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, conflict management, and engagement efforts.
- Competence in performance management frameworks including feedback and evaluation systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance.
- Previous senior HR leadership experience, ideally in a fast-growing environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Capability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with executive-level leadership.
- Educational background including a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM or CIPD are considered a plus.
