Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will collaborate closely with department leaders and project managers to ensure effective workforce planning and operational alignment while upholding compliance with Saudi Labor Law and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department heads and project managers to assess and fulfill operational and workforce needs.
- Offer expert advice regarding employee relations, performance management, promotions, transfers, and retention strategies.
- Assist in manpower planning, employee allocation across projects, and workforce mobilization.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor legislation, internal company policies, and HR best practices.
- Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover rates, Saudization compliance, absenteeism, and employee engagement levels.
- Regularly review and update organizational structure, reporting hierarchies, and span of control to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct job analyses and craft detailed job descriptions and profiles.
- Support job evaluation, grading systems, competency frameworks, and career path definitions.
- Lead implementation of performance management systems including KPIs, competency assessments, and development initiatives.
- Back succession planning, talent reviews, organizational restructuring, and change management processes.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedural governance, and employee handbooks.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for corporate, engineering, technical, and project-based roles.
- Work alongside hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria.
- Source candidates through various channels including job portals, professional networks, referrals, and recruitment agencies.
- Screen applicant profiles, conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and manage technical assessments.
- Coordinate job offers, salary discussions, reference verification, and onboarding activities.
- Build talent pipelines for recurrent and critical project roles.
- Monitor recruitment efficiency metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rates.
- Support Saudi nationalization strategies through talent acquisition initiatives.
- Engage in employer branding and recruitment-related event participation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in human resources encompassing business partnering, organizational development, and talent acquisition.
- Extensive practical experience in workforce planning, organizational design, performance management systems, defining job roles, and comprehensive recruitment.
- Proven track record recruiting for engineering, technical, managerial, and project-site positions.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and local recruitment customs.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills coupled with strengths in stakeholder management, interviewing, negotiation, and communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English languages.
