Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Human Resources Advisor to enhance our HR team. This position offers growth opportunities, flexible working hours, and the chance to collaborate with experienced professionals such as the HR Business Partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer expert advice to managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle employee relations by addressing conflicts and fostering a healthy work environment.
- Keep current with employment laws and ensure all HR activities comply with relevant legislation.
- Assist in designing and implementing HR initiatives, policies, and programs that support organizational goals.
- Maintain precise HR records and documentation to support administrative efficiency.
- Utilize and manage the Human Resources Information System (Workday), including reporting and updating employee information.
- Provide support to the HR Business Partner in various HR-related projects and tasks.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in roles such as HR Coordinator or HR Advisor.
- Exhibit independence and resilience, effectively managing pressure and tight deadlines.
- Have a working knowledge of Employee Relations with the ability to handle related matters competently.
- Demonstrate strong influencing and coaching skills, enabling leaders through excellent communication.
- Understand New Zealand employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Be passionate about delivering meaningful HR initiatives and solutions that add value.
