Job description
Role Overview
Emerge Engineering LLP, a leader in Testing & Commissioning Management, seeks a Human Resource Specialist to oversee comprehensive HR functions within our Chennai office. This role focuses on recruitment, employee onboarding, engagement, and benefits management to support our critical infrastructure projects and maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle: sourcing candidates, screening applications, scheduling interviews, coordinating selections, issuing offers, and managing onboarding processes.
- Facilitate new hire joining formalities and induction, including documentation completion, background checks, and arranging training sessions.
- Conduct general HR duties such as employee engagement initiatives, performance evaluations, handling grievances, and ensuring implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Administer the employee medical and health insurance schemes: manage policy documentation, enrollments, modifications, renewals, claim processing, and address employee insurance-related inquiries.
- Design and implement talent acquisition strategies leveraging job portals, social media, referrals, campus hiring, and diverse recruitment channels to attract suitable candidates.
- Ensure full adherence to company HR policies, internal processes, and relevant statutory requirements throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Maintain precise and updated records including employee files, recruitment trackers, insurance documents, and other HR-related documentation.
- Collaborate closely with department leaders and hiring managers to assess staffing needs and facilitate prompt vacancy closure.
- Provide HR support to employees regarding policies, benefits, leaves, insurance, and general welfare matters.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications: Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management and Development, Bachelor of Business Administration, or Bachelor of Management Studies specialized in Human Resource Management.
