Job description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our client's technology-focused team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves supporting safe practices in ICT, ELV, CCTV, and security system installation projects. The position is offered on a 12-month contract basis near Abu Dhabi Airport, with a targeted start date of September 1, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and client-specific safety standards.
- Carry out site inspections, perform risk assessments, and lead toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Collaborate closely with project teams during installation and implementation phases.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, permits, reports, and documentation as required.
- Continuously monitor site activities to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Facilitate incident reporting processes, assist with investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Enforce safety protocols to guarantee all personnel comply with regulations on-site.
Requirements
- Possession of a NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience as an HSE Officer in technology-related fields such as ICT, ELV, CCTV, or security system installations.
- Understanding of site implementation procedures and project coordination.
- Prior exposure to IT or technology sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent documentation and communication capabilities.
- Willingness to travel and perform duties across various project sites.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Availability to address critical site issues when needed.
- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are off.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a monthly cash package ranging between AED 8,000 and AED 9,000, inclusive of all allowances. Additional benefits include medical insurance for the employee, visa sponsorship, and travel arrangements for mobilization and demobilization flights.
