Job description
Job Overview and Responsibilities
The HR Specialist role involves managing and overseeing a full range of human resources operations primarily related to payroll and employee lifecycle within a Saudi Arabian context. Key duties include preparing and validating monthly payroll inputs such as allowances, deductions, overtime, and unpaid leave. The role requires coordinating payroll processing to ensure accurate salary data and handling final settlements including End of Service Benefits (EOSB). Managing terminations, resignations, clearances, offboarding, and all related documentation is a critical responsibility.
The HR Specialist will also prepare and update employment contracts, amendments, and maintain comprehensive employee records. Management of HR transactions through specialized HR systems and handling interactions with various Saudi government platforms including Qiwa, Mudad, GOSI, Muqeem, and Absher Business are required. The position demands oversight of work permits, Iqama renewals, sponsorship transfers, exit formalities, and maintaining accurate employee data across internal and government platforms.
Additional Duties
- Generating and providing payroll and WPS (Wage Protection System) reports while collaborating with Finance
- Monitoring contract and probation expiration dates, as well as residency and work permit validity
- Drafting HR letters, employment certificates, salary confirmations, and formal correspondence
- Maintaining detailed employee files ensuring proper documentation compliance
- Assisting with employee relations issues and addressing payroll, contract, benefits, and HR queries
- Ensuring all HR practices adhere strictly to Saudi Labor Law and company policies
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in HR operations with emphasis on payroll and employee lifecycle management
- Proven expertise with Saudi government HR platforms including Qiwa, Mudad, GOSI, and Muqeem
- Comprehensive understanding of Saudi Labor Law
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English communication
