About the Role
At Sky Handling Partner, employees are valued as the most important resource. We are looking to expand our energetic HR team with the addition of an HR Officer who will support a collaborative and flourishing workplace environment. This pivotal role involves offering expert HR support and advice to business managers on a variety of topics while ensuring adherence to company policies, employment laws, and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department leaders to effectively manage employee relations issues.
- Advise managers on HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to foster compliance and best practices.
- Support performance management processes, including handling disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Assist with talent acquisition and onboarding to welcome qualified candidates smoothly.
- Implement and uphold employee appraisal and development programs.
- Maintain HR information systems with up-to-date employee data and generate monthly HR reports for senior management.
- Coordinate payroll-related data for new hires, departures, and changes, ensuring timely processing.
- Develop and execute initiatives to enhance staff retention, engagement, and employee recognition.
- Create and update HR policies aligning with company values and regulatory compliance.
- Promote employee safety, welfare, and wellness, contributing to an inclusive workplace culture.
- Support workforce planning by collaborating with operational teams on headcount forecasts.
- Develop internal communication strategies to ensure HR practices support business objectives.
- Handle general HR duties and respond to HR queries from employees and management promptly.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree with honors in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least two years’ experience working in a broad HR role, demonstrating solid understanding of employee relations and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Competency in managing HR data, reporting, and analytics.
- Experience operating within fast-moving and strictly regulated environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with department heads.
- Authorized to work in Ireland.
- Adaptability to organizational change is considered an advantage.
