Job Summary
The HR Officer will support daily human resources operations, ensuring proper implementation of company HR policies, procedures, and employee services aligned with UAE Labour Law.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise employee records and personnel files.
- Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, forms, and related employee documents.
- Manage and update HR databases and employee information accurately.
- Address daily employee HR queries effectively.
- Assist recruitment processes from job posting through hiring.
- Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and schedule interviews with managers.
- Communicate with candidates and maintain recruitment documentation.
- Organize onboarding and induction processes for new hires, ensuring completion of joining paperwork.
- Manage offboarding procedures including employee clearances and exit documentation.
- Support exit interviews and keep related records updated.
- Track attendance, punctuality, absences, overtime, and working hours.
- Maintain accurate records of employee leave balances and prepare reports accordingly.
- Ensure adherence to company leave policies and UAE Labour Law regulations.
- Coordinate payroll-related updates with Finance and Payroll departments, including information on new hires, resignations, salary changes, deductions, overtime, and unpaid leaves.
- Validate payroll data and supporting documents.
- Respond professionally to employee inquiries and HR issues.
- Assist HR Manager in managing employee relations and disciplinary actions, preparing necessary documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee information.
- Ensure compliance with internal HR policies and UAE Labour Law.
- Support visa processing, work permit issuance, medical insurance, and governmental employee-related formalities.
- Coordinate with external HR service providers as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant HR experience, with preference for those experienced in UAE labor regulations.
- Sound understanding of UAE Labour Law and human resources best practices.
- Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Fluent English communication is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
