Key Responsibilities

• Complete multi-stop delivery runs ensuring timely distribution.
• Evaluate the safety and appropriateness of loads prior to leaving the site.
• Verify all loads are securely restrained both at dispatch and after each delivery stop.
• Detect any discrepancies or non-conforming items in the load.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during all interactions.

Role Requirements

• At least two years of experience in HR-related duties.
• Skilled in operating vehicles with synchromesh gearboxes.
• Proficient in securing loads using straps and chains that comply with current load restraint standards.
• Availability to work Monday through Thursday from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and Fridays from 5:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
• Prior experience in the steel industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Conditions

Due to the importance of health and safety at Vulcan, successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and drug screening.
