About the Role

SLB has completed the acquisition of ChampionX as of July 16, 2025. Successful candidates will start employment at ChampionX before transitioning to SLB during the integration process. This role as an HR Business Partner is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and offers the chance to work with a leading global technology firm committed to energy innovation and sustainability. You will manage diverse HR functions across Saudi Arabia and Egypt, including payroll, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, policies, compensation, and benefits, reporting to the PCT HR Manager, MENA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations and deliver HR services across Saudi Arabia and Egypt business units.
  • Handle employee and manager concerns proactively, escalating complex issues appropriately.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives by understanding individual and organizational behavior.
  • Develop strong partnerships with management teams by coaching leaders on conflict resolution and HR best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant employment laws and internal policies to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Advise on compensation and benefits strategies; prepare proposals for new hires, promotions, relocations, and other changes.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, life insurance, and flight allowances.
  • Provide impartial day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees regarding policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with HR management to create and update internal HR policies that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead cultural change initiatives and manage change communications across the organization.
  • Manage recruitment processes end-to-end: requisitions, job descriptions, advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Ensure all pre-employment checks, hiring paperwork, and employment documentation are accurately completed.
  • Support talent management activities such as training delivery, annual performance reviews, talent assessment, succession planning, and reporting.
  • Manage sensitive employee relations matters including disciplinary actions and grievances in line with local labor laws.
  • Ensure smooth and compliant exit processes, including conducting and analyzing exit interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and personnel files; ensure data integrity in HRIS systems including Workday.
  • Compile HR reports and statistical data for management review.
  • Manage immigration compliance through record maintenance, work permit, and visa processing, coordinating closely with government relations.
  • Oversee payroll activities in close partnership with external providers, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement; assist with payroll audits as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist in global multinational organizations.
  • Strong initiative with the capability to work independently and take responsibility for outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
