Job description
Role Overview
Join a prominent UK organisation as an experienced HR Business Partner based in Solihull, offering a hybrid working model with occasional site visits. This permanent, full-time role incorporates a £5,000 car allowance in addition to a salary reaching up to £65,000. It is suited for a commercially astute HR professional who excels at fostering strong relationships, influencing senior leaders, and spearheading strategic HR initiatives supporting business expansion, organizational change, and employee growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to deliver effective HR solutions that boost business outcomes and align with the broader People strategy.
- Lead initiatives relating to organizational design, workforce and succession planning.
- Assist managers in cultivating engaged, high-performing, and inclusive teams.
- Manage sensitive employee relations cases and provide expert guidance on employment law.
- Support HR Advisors with escalated employee relations issues.
- Facilitate organizational change projects, including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
- Work in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to attract, retain, and develop workforce talent.
- Oversee essential annual processes such as pay reviews, bonus distribution, and engagement surveys.
- Drive and contribute to HR projects that foster continuous improvement and business transformation.
- Build strong collaborations with shared services to enhance overall employee experience.
Candidate Profile
- Seasoned HR Business Partner familiar with complex organizational environments.
- Holder of a CIPD qualification.
- Strong generalist expertise in employee relations, organizational development, talent management, and change management.
- Experience handling complex employee relations, organizational restructuring, redundancies, and TUPE matters.
- Thorough knowledge of UK employment law.
- Effective stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset paired with excellent communication skills.
- Good analytical abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Experience
- Background in sectors such as construction, engineering, infrastructure, or other project-driven industries.
