Job description

Role overview

This position is a full-time HR Assistant opportunity in Abu Dhabi, combining on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility. The role supports the daily running of HR activities and helps keep employee-related processes organized, accurate, and compliant.

What you will do

  • Maintain employee records and keep HR information up to date.
  • Assist with onboarding and exit procedures for employees.
  • Support the preparation of benefits and payroll-related documents.
  • Enter and update data in the HR information system and help with basic reporting.
  • Plan and coordinate training sessions, including schedules, logistics, and attendance tracking.
  • Respond to employee questions promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare HR documentation and internal communications as needed.
  • Help ensure HR practices align with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
  • Work with HR leadership on initiatives to improve HR processes and the employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on knowledge of HR functions and HR management practices is required to support day-to-day operations.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms for accurate data entry, record maintenance, and simple reporting is important.
  • Understanding of benefits administration, including enrollment support, documentation, and employee guidance, is needed.
  • Ability to coordinate training activities such as scheduling, logistics, and attendance follow-up is expected.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to handle sensitive information carefully.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills are required; Arabic language ability is an advantage.
  • Comfort with office software such as Microsoft Office and other digital collaboration tools is necessary.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred, and prior HR support experience is a plus.
